‘Millers & Me’ has been nominated as a finalist in the Media Global Awards.

The advertising campaign has been nominated in the category “New for 2016 Best Campaign for Commerce”.

Other finalists include Tiffany & Co Europe, Danske Bank Denmark, and T-mobile Netherlands.

The awards will be held 18-20 May in Rome.

Specialty Fashion Group CEO Gary Perlstein said it is great to see the subsidiary on the world stage.

“This is a prestigious event, and Millers being nominated as a finalist is tribute to its innovative, leading edge marketing strategies in a fast-changing industry.”

Head of marketing Evelyn Kipriotis said the campaign is part of a long-term strategy to increase brand sentiment and recognition.

Along with a rolling program of in-store transformations, the campaign included advertising featuring the new ‘Millers & Me – Made for each other’ positioning and real Millers’ women.

“At Millers, everything we do is for the love of our women. This campaign featured some of our own customers in our advertising, an exciting first step towards using our wonderful Millers’ women as models and ambassadors,” she said.

The Festival of Media Global was launched in Venice in 2007.

In 2009, the Festival of Media launched a Global Awards ceremony that is now one of the world's largest advertising ceremonies by number of entries, attracting work from more than 40 countries.
