Brands such as Tiffany & Co, Burberry, Salvatore Ferragamo, Max Mara and Emporio Armani will join Melbourne Airport’s luxury precinct later this year as part of its $50 million retail expansion.

The new high-end precinct will be located in Terminal 2, adjacent to the duty free store and will also feature brands including Watches of Switzerland, Bally, Michael Kors, Hugo Boss and Furla.

Melbourne Airport chief of retail Andrew Gardiner said the expansion has been curated to fit the evolving needs and expectations of travellers passing through Australia's fastest growing city.

“The luxury precinct is really taking Melbourne Airport to the next level, with 11 of the world’s most prestigious brands set to enhance our international passenger experience.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to bring these brands to Melbourne Airport. Our domestic and international passengers have informed us of the stores they want to see, and we’re delivering on that with high end brands that we know our travellers love.”

Tiffany & Co. ANZ VP and MD Glen Schlehuber said the brand was excited to be joining the precinct, noting the importance of having access to both local and international customers.

“We are extremely excited to be opening at the Melbourne Airport and offering both local and international travellers the convenience of shopping at Tiffany & Co.

“Our prominent location in the new luxury precinct provides us with the ideal environment to showcase our jewellery collections."

All stores are scheduled to open between the end of July and end of November 2017.
