Melbourne designer Belinda Humphrey is launching her own namesake label.
Humphrey, who has worked in the fashion industry in Australia and London for more than 13 years, will venture into the womenswear space.
The debut collection, available online from August 1, emphasises the use of natural fibres, prints and embellishments.
Humphrey says her brand is built upon luxurious fabrics, finish and fit.
“The consumer holds enormous power to shape the world we live in and now more than ever they expect a high level of integrity from the brands they buy from,” she says.
“We are using a global sourcing strategy to ensure we partner with the most experienced and credible suppliers who share the same values.”
Humphrey has studied Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion and worked for apparel brands in Australia and the United Kingdom.
She now lives in Williamstown.
