Australian footwear label Aquila has revealed its latest 'real man', Aquila store manager Sam Criscione, for its 'Real Guys, Real Good Shoes' campaign. 

Criscione will join other names on the lineup including NRL star Benji Marshall, street artist Rone, Chef Adam D’Sylva, AFL player Patrick Cripps and photographer Giuseppe Santamaria. 

Criscione has been working for Aquila since the early 80s and has worked across many departments and projects but is currently the manager of Aquila in Abbotsford. 

Criscione said that the despite working across different departments his favourite job is being on the shop floor. 

"My favourite part of the job is selling – I love selling great shoes to great men.

"While I was originally hired by my brother-in-law Mario, my nephew Luke now runs the business alongside his brother and cousin.

"I’ve always felt like part of the Aquila family – it’s just that sort of the business," he said. 

Aquila CEO Luke Longo said that the brand is proud to see Criscione join the campaign. 

"Sam is a passionate member of the Aquila family and we are so proud to have him represent the brand through this campaign and day in, day out in-store," he said. 

The 'Real Guys, Real Good Shoes' campaign began in September 2019.
