A former employee has had her day in court as she pursues a $550,000 claim against the activewear chain.
Amy Robinson appeared before the Brisbane District Court this week to pursue bullying claims against Lorna Jane.
Robinson also alleges she sustained injuries requiring surgery from physical tasks performed in her role as sales assistant.
This was said to occur during her six-month role at the brand's Brisbane airport DFO store.
According to her statement of claim, Robinson's area manager Megan McCarthy is alleged to have bullied her over her weight.
Robinson told the court this included comments she "looked cheap" and "wasn't inspiring enough".
Former colleagues will be called to give evidence as the proceeding rolls out.
Lorna Jane has denied all claims.
