Former David Jones CEO David Thomas has been appointed to chief executive of Brandbank Group, according to reports.
After stepping down from his role at David Jones in February for personal reasons, Thomas is set to start his new role in August, as reported by The Age.
Brandbank Group is owned by ragtrade billionaire Solomon Lew's son, Peter Lew, and operates brands Seed and Thurley and holds the licence for French Connection and Nine West in Australia and New Zealand.
Thomas is the second former David Jones boss to be hired by the Lew family, after Solomon Lew hired Mark McInnes as CEO of Premier Investments in 2011 after his departure from the department store.
