Korean streetwear brand Acme De La Vie (ADLV) will open its first Australian store in QV Melbourne in May.

The business will open the store on May 08 and will then launch a local eCommerce store soon after.

The opening comes as the brand experiences significant growth across the world since it was founded by twin brothers Jinmo and Jaemo Goo in 2017.

Opening its first store in Korea's Gangnam district, ADLV quickly amassed a loyal fan base and has since grown its store footprint to 50 locations across Asia.

ADLV Australian director Ying Yang welcomed the opening of the first Australian store.

"We're so excited to open a store in Melbourne and grow our Australian fan base.

"We know that streetwear is such a staple in Australian fashion and we love seeing how consumers adapt pieces to the Australian climate.

"Given the circumstances and the year we've all endured, we're both proud and grateful to be able to continue our growth and better serve our customers on this side of the globe," Yang said.

ADLV offers a range of streetwear styles including tees, sweats, hoodies, accessories and outerwear.

The label incorporates pop-culture brands into its pieces and has recently collaborated with Disney, Pink Fong and The Simpsons.

All styles are unisex and come in only two sizes - one (S/M) and two (M/L) - which are focused on oversized fits.

The ADLV name is derived from the French passage, acme de la vie, which converts to 'the pinnacle of life.'

Prices for ADLV pieces range from $80 to $200.
