Jimmy Choo has partnered with Malaysia Airlines and Curtin University to take part in a two-day think tank for students in Perth.

Choo will present a one-off masterclass on April 9th, followed by 'The Fashion Tank' on April 10th where a panel of fashion experts will offer selected students feedback on their work.

Malaysia Airlines regional senior vice president, PK Lee believes the opportunity will be invaluable to students and the relationship between Australia and Malaysia.

"Both countries recognise that their economic futures are tied to each other and connecting our continents has always been a significant goal for Malaysia Airlines.

"Our Malaysian heritage is of great importance to us and we believe the face to face with Professor Choo not only gives students the opportunity to pick the brains of one of Malaysia’s most successful industry leaders, but demonstrates how hard work and determination can bring our countries closer together."

Choo said the collaboration is an opportunity to celebrate his heritage.

"I’m really proud of my Malaysian culture and Malaysia Airlines is very close to my heart. I’ve flown with them for many, many years and I’m a longstanding member of their Enrich frequent flyer program. I’ve always associated the airline with home and I feel proud to be considered a friend of the airline."

Tickets to the event are currently sold out, with no plans to add extra shows.
