Jeanswest's suede sell out

Jeanswest has divulged sell-through rates following the introduction of its suede collection.

General manager of product Adam Lloyd said that the brand saw a 67% sell through rate for its suede skirt alongside 54% for its suede jacket in its first few weeks.

“This was a great result for us a brand, especially as it was the first time we’ve introduced suede into the collection – which also meant the price point was higher than what our customer has come to expect from us, but I think it shows they’re happy to invest in pieces when they’re premium fabrications and excellent quality.”

Lloyd also confirmed that at this stage, its Homespun collection will not extend to its Chinese stores operated by parent company Glorious Sun.
