Accent Group has launched Australia's first dedicated digital footwear marketplace, Crèmm.
The site launched with 52 brands across fashion, athletic and lifestyle categories including Vans, Superga, Skechers, R.M. Williams and Tony Bianco.
Leveraging Accent's expertise the site is equipped with Afterpay compatibility, dynamic search, live chat customer service, 24-hour dispatch and a centralised returns hub.
Accent Group CDO Mark Teperson said that the platform is set to fill a gap in the Australian retail market.
"Consumer adoption of marketplace retail platforms is becoming more common globally.
"Big name players like The Iconic, Farfetch and Asos are fast replacing the traditional department store as the go-to destination for fashion and lifestyle brands.
"Reviewing the market, we found Australian consumers were seeking a centralised platform to browse and shop leading
footwear brands to meet their lifestyle needs.
"We believe there is no better time to establish Crèmm," he said.
Accent Group CEO Daniel Agostinelli added that the site will further expand the reach of the brands.
"Crèmm will provide our brands the opportunity to reach new customers by sitting among leading international and
local brands in a new destination for footwear.
"Accent Group has significant knowledge of the target consumer and existing retail infrastructure to help rapidly grow and elevate new technologies, which will be beneficial for the growth of Crèmm," he said.
Crèmm targets consumers aged 18-35 and launched nationally on November 20.
