These are the Australian fashion brands and bloggers winning at Instagram.

In an Australian first, Instagram has pulled data on the most memorable moments during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA).

Instagram collated images with the highest engagement and the most used filters by the Australian fashion community.

The analysis was conducted on fashion week-related hashtags, posted between April 12 - 16, 2015.

From this data set, Instagram categorised photos by overall engagement (likes and comments).

Instagram also crunched data set to look for mentions of specific fashion shows to see which received the most overall engagement.

This photo won the week

The top photo of the week was an image taken by Tourism Australia's @Australia account during the Ten Pieces runway show held at the iconic Bondi Icebergs. The pool was emptied to provide a catwalk and front row seating for the fashion pack.

The filters of the week

Two of Instagram's newly released filters, Ludwig and Crema were the most popular filters used to capture MBFWA's fashion shows. Ludwig, a filter designed to make colours pop and provide sharp contrasts was the most used filter, followed by Crema a more subtle filter, which adds a purple haze. Old favourites Valencia, X-Pro II and Amaro were also used to enhance MBFWA images.
