Trade fair Home & Giving + Fashion is set for its second instalment of the year this weekend.

It relaunched under the Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA) in Sydney in February and now has its sights set on Melbourne.

The event will aim to allow designers and wholesalers to exhibit goods to a range of retailers and buyers across the industry.

It could be major driving force for exhibitors after its Sydney event reported a 10.5 per cent increase in visitors and around 3942 unique buyers compared to 2000 in 2014.

Following on from its success in Sydney, the fair will also run its schedule of seminars, workshops and runway shows throughout the five days.

Major wholesaler A Global Beat, Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand and Ragtrader's Assia Benmedjdoub are among some of the figures who will host discussions on a range of topics from adpating to multi-channel retail to advice for stakeholders in the supply chain.

Home & Giving + Fashion will run from August 1-5 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre and Melbourne Showgrounds from 9am to 6pm.
