Australian luxury department store Harrolds will today open its fifth store at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast.

The launch marks the business' foray into the retail landscape outside of Melbourne and Sydney.

Spanning 750sqm across two levels, the store will offer both menswear and womenswear and includes Tom Ford, Balenciaga and Alexander Wang shop-in-shops.

It will also house the retailer's made-to-measure service which was recently launched in its Melbourne and Sydney arms.

Harrolds marketing and communications director Mary Poulakis said as Pacific Fair unveils extensive renovations, the launch is a case of striking while the iron's hot.

“With the Pacific Fair renovations, Gold Coast has now transformed into one of the country’s most attractive fashion destinations and it is our great pleasure to announce Harrolds’ arrival.

“The new location will be the exclusive stockist of luxury ready-to-wear at Pacific Fair alongside a Queensland-specific curation of shoes, accessories and fragrances.”

Harrolds' Pacific Fair store will feature signature design elements such as marble and velvet textures.

Harrolds launched in Melbourne in 1985.
