Iconic menswear retailer Harrolds is venturing into the womenswear space.
The department store will open its first luxury women's destination in February 2015.
The stand-alone site will be located in Westfield Pitt Street, Sydney.
Harrolds women's will offer a wide range of luxury brands including Saint Laurent Paris, Balenciaga, Thom Browne and Balmain.
Harrolds will also be the exclusive stockist for Tom Ford, in line with its menswear store.
Harrolds marketing director Mary Poulakis said the move will fortify its position as a prime luxury vendor.
"There is a thirst in Australia from educated shoppers looking for the high-‐end fashion they see on runways and look books from the finest designers in the world. We are thrilled to announce the launch of the highly anticipated and needed, womenswear store."
