Australian department store chain Harris Scarfe will be one of the companies entering the soon-to-be redeveloped Perth Midland Gate shopping centre.
The company has confirmed that they will be one of the 215 retailers entering the shopping centre, which will be undergoing a $100 million expansion.
The new centre will increase its size from 55,297sqm to 69,366sqm and feature approximately 35 new specialty retailers, with a focus on fashion, which will also include a 'new generation' Kmart.
This latest store will be a continuation of Harris Scarfe's expansion plans following the opening of two stores earlier this month, with one in Mackay's Caneland Central shopping centre and a second in Joondalup, taking its national store count to 62.
The company has also announced that its first foray into the Sydney metro market will launch with a new store at Top Ryde shopping centre July 20.
