General Pants will launch a new category tomorrow - but it has already created history in doing so.
General Pants will venture into the swimwear category for spring/summer 2014/15, with brands including Anna & Boy, Stussy and One Teaspoon.
The swimwear venture will also include an exclusive range from model Bambi Northwood Blyth, B.BAM.
General Pants created a global first when it launched the range by sending 22 models down a 50 metre inflatable water slide last week.
The show was curated by General Pants design director Pip Edwards.
It also featured an assortment of men’s board shorts from brands such as Arvust, Vanishing Elephant, Santa Cruz and Stussy.
Guests enjoyed custom designed cocktails by Smirnoff and DJ duo Jam Xpress provided the tunes for the runway show.
GoPros were strapped to the models to give guests a taste of what it was like to ride the slide post-event.
The event was staged at The Entertainment Quarter Show Ring, Moore Park.
