Internationally renowned designer Jean Paul Gaultier has been confirmed as a special guest at Australian Fashion Chamber’s inaugural training seminars across Sydney and Melbourne.
Open to members and non-members of the Australian Fashion Chamber, the training seminars will feature a range of industry panellists.
The panellists will discuss topics including brand strategy and operations, export access, business innovation and digital marketing.
Each event will feature different key speakers, with Gaultier participating in a Q&A at both training seminars.
Gaultier will share lessons he has learnt on building and sustaining an international brand, as well as the challenges he has faced, given the demands of the modern-day fashion cycle.
The Melbourne training seminar will be hosted on Friday 17 October at the National Gallery of Victoria, as part of their debut of the exhibition of ‘The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From Sidewalk to Catwalk.’
The Sydney training seminar will be hosted on Friday 24 October at AMP Capital’s AMP Theatrette on Alfred Street, Sydney.
Guest panellists at the seminars will include Aesop co-founder Suzanne Santos, Toni & Guy national creative director Katy Reeve, Reborn Digital Creative agency head of strategy Gual Barwell and representatives from the NSW and Victorian governments.
