Australian accessories brand Mon Purse has announced plans to launch in the US this December.

The brand has secured a concession space with Bloomingdale's, following a similar deal with Selfridges ahead of Christmas.

Mon Purse will launch live in-store at its 59th Street location in New York on December 15.

The launch into Bloomingdale's will allow customers to feel the materials as they appear through the 3D bag builder.

Large format touch screens will also enable shoppers to order custom pieces online while in-store.

Bloomingdale's omni concessions executive Sharon Wax welcomed the brand.

"Personalisation is important to our customer and introducing Mon Purse at the store level exclusively at Bloomingdale’s is extremely exciting.

"Offering the opportunity to monogram, design and customise a one-of-a-kind creation will resonate with Bloomingdale’s shoppers who continually seek unique products which can’t be found elsewhere.”

The launch into Bloomingdale's will coincide with a strategic design collaboration with industry influencer Laura Brown.

Brown will design a capsule range of bags that will become permanent customisable SKU’s on the site and will be available exclusively at Bloomingdales.

Mon Purse founder Lana Hopkins said the collaboration presents mutual benefits.

“We are thrilled to have Laura Brown come on board, her involvement and expertise will no doubt elevate the Mon Purse launch into the US market."
