ragtrader.com.au has secured fresh details on one of the latest partnerships to shake the fashion etail sector - one which looks to balloon to 10 million SKUs within a year.
Earlier this week, Australia Post announced it had signed on as exclusive shipping partner to fledgling etailer Tarazz.com.au.
Australia Post has told ragtrader.com.au further similar partnerships could be in the pipeline.
“With record numbers of Australians now shopping online, Australia Post is committed to working with all online retailers to continue to support their growth in both the global and domestic ecommerce markets,” a company spokesperson said.
“More than 10 million Australians now shopping online, and we want to make it easier for businesses to take advantage of the online shopping boom by providing them with efficient delivery solutions.
"Australia Post has the largest retail network in Australia and we understand the importance of offering customers both a physical and digital presence.”
In a similar vein, Australia Post's latest retail partner, Tarazz.com.au, has also voiced its intention to expand the business into new territory.
The etailer currently has 250,000 items on its site, many of which are not available for purchase in Australian retail stores.
Speaking exclusively to ragtrader.com.au, Tarazz.com.au revealed it plans to grow its product range to 10 million items within a year.
Tarazz.com.au operates as a 'one-stop-shop' operation, with a single checkout across multiple retailers and “cheaper consolidated shipping prices, offering local customer support and local returns”.
Such brands include luxury European brand Folli Follie, and apparel labels BB Dakota, Free People and Dolce Vita.
