This is how one Australian brand is celebrating 20 years in business.

Emu will mark its 20th year anniversary this October with 20 new colours and new product innovations.

Emu has recontextualised every single product in its collection, including the water-resistant 'Stinger' sheepskin boot.

The entire sheepskin originals line has been transformed, with the range now featuring a new 30 per cent lighter outsole, tapered profile and more flexible fit.

These upgrades are coupled with extended colourways across the Stinger Lo Boot and a refreshed creative direction.

The direction includes new 'Ever Natural' branding, with new brand pillars Natural, Comfort, Innovation, Boundless.

Born in Geelong, the Emu brand emerged out of Jackson’s Tannery in 1994, a family business established in 1948.

Jackson’s Tannery was one of the first companies to make sheepskin boots on a commercial scale, catering for the local and international surf community since the 1970s.

Throughout the brand’s 20 years history, Emu has pioneered a number of new innovations including new dying techniques in 1996, new upgraded dual density outsoles feature on boots in 2007 and two waterproof applications in 2010 and 2013.

Emu is available in more than 70 countries.
