Diane Von Furstenberg (DVF) has announced a partnership with fashion B2B platform Ordre.com.

Helmed by Australian Fashion Week founder Simon Lock, the platform operates as a wholesale showroom for designers and buyers.

Commencing with spring 2018, the wholesale collection will be available to DVF's existing global retail network through Ordre.com.

Retailers will be able to review the RTW and accessory collections in 360° view and VR.

DVF will also be hosting physical showrooms in NYC, London and Milan during Fashion Month.

DVF sales executive Melissa Sussberg welcomed the partnership, confirming the brand's recent presentation in New York was available to view in virtual reality.

"All DVF retail partners [were] provided with Ordre headsets to experience the presentation from the front row no matter where they [were] in the world.

"This technology will help to create an overall understanding of the fit, movement and fabrication of the collection.

“It’s becoming increasingly difficult for our valued retail partners to constantly travel to showrooms.

"Our partnership with Ordre will allow them to understand the detail of the collections and place wholesale orders remotely.”

Lock said the potential is limitless.

“Ordre's vision as a technology company powering the business of fashion has been embraced by DVF.

"As a team, we are very excited about the plans for spring 18 and the possibilities for the future.”
