Decjuba has continued its collaboration with international charity The Hunger Project, this time creating a limited-edition pouch.

The pouch is the latest addition to the on-going partnership, which has already raised $90,000 for The Hunger Project.

For this collaboration, Decjuba sought out women in Bangladesh to handcraft the bags with the purpose of teaching and developing the women's skills.

The desired outcome of the initiative is to give the women the opportunity to hold a job, earn income and ultimately become self-reliant.

The Hunger Project Australia CEO Melanie Noden took the opportunity to thank Decjuba for its continued efforts and acknowledged the impact it had made on the women of Bangladesh.

"We've loved creating these pouches with Decjuba and the women in Bangladesh. The collaboration has enabled a group of women in Bangladesh to be trained and employed in the production process.

"As a result, they have been able to feed their families, send their children to school and pay for their own studies.

"The funds raised through sales of the pouches will mean that even more women can be educated and empowered to transform their lives and lift themselves out of hunger and poverty."

Decjuba CEO and owner Tania Austin expressed how much the project means to the brand and to herself.

"This project means so much to me because we have directly impacted the lives of the women involved in the program, in addition to helping to continue the incredible work of The Hunger Project."

Decjuba will donate 100% of the proceeds from the pouches to the charity as it continues its work in Bangladesh, India and Africa.
