David Jones talks numbers

David Jones has commenced its half yearly clearance - and revealed product targets for the campaign.

The department store will offer savings of up to 50% on a range of fashion, shoes and accessories.

David Jones retail executive Aaron Faraguna said extended hours will roll out across the store network. 

“The David Jones Half Yearly Clearance is a highly anticipated genuine clearance sales event with savings on current season stock.

"There are savings across all categories and with customer convenience top of mind, offers are available online and in store nationwide.

"This year we expect to sell 10,000 coats, 33,000 pairs of jeans, 350,000 pieces of intimate apparel and hosiery, 200,000 pairs of men’s socks and underwear and 15,000 pillows."
