Cotton On Group delivered its single biggest weekend of online sales in Australia after offering Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts.
Its Black Friday event last week almost doubled its year on year sales from last year up 95% and Cyber Monday discounts saw a 200% leap in sales from 2014.
The retailer also offered shoppers access to early discounts on Sunday which resulted in a staggering 480% year on year growth.
Cotton On Group offered consumers a 40% discount site wide with the most popular items purchased including Cotton On's round towel and water bottles among the biggest sellers.
The company's general manager of ecommerce Brendan Sweeney believes the results indicate Australian consumers' growing demand to participate in global shopping events.
“The online world is dissolving country and market borders, meaning global shopping events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday are now easier than ever before for customers to access.”

Sweeney revealed that the retailer will continue to boost sales through a range of offers and discounts throughout the festive season.
