Billabong has appointed Kim Anderson to its board of directors.
Anderson is currently a non-executive director for Carsales.com.au and WPPAUNZ, formed this year from the merger of STW Group and WPP.
She also chairs the Remuneration Committee of both companies and up until early this year was chief executive officer of Reading Room, Inc.
Billabong chair Ian Pollard said she also has experience as a board member of both listed and unlisted companies.
“Ms. Anderson brings extensive experience in the digital and e-commerce sectors and in the media and publishing industries, which will be valuable given the Company’s OMNI and other projects."
Anderson will take over from Howard Mowlem as chair of the company’s Human Resources and Remuneration Committee.
