Australian designers have joined forces to launch a swimwear collective.
Allerton founder Pirra Griffiths and OceanZen Bikini Steph Gabriel will debut Swim Co Australia on October 27.
The debut party and launch party, staged in Sydney, will be hosted by television personality Georgia Love.
The collective aims to support brands in a saturated industry.
“The Australian swimwear market is one of the largest, so it was questionable why an event like this wasn’t already supporting Australian established and emerging swimwear designers," Gabriel said.
“We saw a need in the market and decided it was up to us to create a solution," Griffiths said.
The collective of designers will support one another with industry insights, as well as establish an eCommerce site allowing consumers to view all brands and make purchases online.
