Australian jellies footwear brand Holster is putting its best foot forward.

The brand reported a 25 per cent increase in sales year-on-year with 500,000 pairs sold globally in 2014.

Currently stocked in over 2,200 stores and boutiques worldwide, the brand has expansion plans to open flagship stores in both the Middle East and South Africa in 2015.

Locally, the brand has opened newly renovated offices, showroom and redesigned retail space in the heart of Noosa.

The warehouse space has increased from 440sqm to 1800sqm with an 8-metre high roof designed to store masses of footwear which is distributed throughout Australia and other parts of the globe.

Current international stockists include Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Nordstrom and local department giant David Jones.

David Jones has reported that holster sales are up 23 per cent from 2013.

The move to widen the national account base will see more stores added to their current standing of approximately 400.

Holster director Ben Nothling said the brand has big plans for next year.

"It’s been a great year for the brand and the goals we’ve set for 2015 include opening a store in Dubai through our new Middle Eastern Distributor as well as several in South Africa.

"I am also pleased to announce a new updated website for the brand which will also be launched in the New Year."
