Australian brand Mighty Good Undies has secured distribution in nordstrom.com.

The fair trade and organic cotton underwear company was founded in April, 2016.

Co-founder Elena Antoniou said launching into the U.S. with a large retail partner was always part of the overall business plan.

“We had identified Nordstrom as a right fit partner for our expansion into the U.S. but were pleasantly surprised when we were approached by them.

"To attract the attention of such a large player in the United States is a testament to the changing and growing demand of an ethical underwear alternative.”

Mighty Good Undies has an A+ Rating in the Ethical Fashion Report conducted by Baptist World Aid, a yearly audit that measures the efforts undertaken by companies to mitigate the risks of forced labour, child labour and worker exploitation in their supply chains.

“Nordstrom selected us because of our simple and modern aesthetic, coupled with our ethical and sustainable credentials  targeted at the growing conscious millennial consumer - a market they clearly see as growing," Antoniou said.

In addition to the international success of the brand, Mighty Good Undies is actively seeking to grow their retail presence in the Australian & UK markets.
