This Australian fashion app is calling itself the lovechild of Instagram and Ebay.

Remoda is the latest fashion app to land in the market, offering users a platform to buy and sell new and pre-loved brands through their smart phone.

Users are able to browse and buy items as close as 200 metres away.

The app is free to sign up, free to sell on and its founder Arie Spivak believes it boasts an easy-to-navigate user interface.

“We wanted to build an instant, social marketplace to make it as simple as possible to browse the latest items in their local area or across the country. Selling an item on Remoda is as easy as taking a selfie!”

Spivak also said that the app could also reduce the cost of purchasing highly sought after vintage brands.

We have found that Remoda has items much less than retail prices. With hundreds of
items added each day, you’re bound to find items for up to 80 per cent less than what you pay in store or online, appealing to those who have great style but are working towards tight budgets.”

The company is reporting that 80 per cent of its users are based in Australia, with the remaining 20 per cent located predominantly in London, LA, Tokyo and Singapore.

The Australian company has reported around 50,000 downloads since its launch.
