Australian luxury retailer LK Boutique will rebrand as Kennedy under Emerald Group Investments (EGI) as it marks 40 years in operation.

The transition will see Kennedy pick up Cartier as part of its brand stable, rolling out dedicated concept spaces in-store for the fine jewellery label.

Patek Phillippe, IWC and Bayco Jewels will also have installations and Kennedy will launch a mulit-brand retail outlet in Perth in 2017.

Sydney's Star Boutique will also undergo a revamp throughout the transitional phase.

EGI Group CEO James Kennedy believes the rebrand will poach a new influx of luxury consumers.

“As we celebrate LK Boutique’s 40th anniversary this year, we couldn’t think of a more fitting way to honour the company’s family heritage than with an exciting rebrand to Kennedy.

“We hope this transition will engage a new generation of luxe consumers, whilst also reflecting the continued commitment to our core and loyal audience”.

Kennedy will relaunch its multi-brand boutique in Crown Melbourne on October 1.

The company has recorded double digit sales growth year-on-year during FY16.
