PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR/GARMENT TECHNICIAN INTERNATIONAL BRANDED MEN'S AND WOMEN'S WEAR code: S1886

A well known INTERNATIONAL FASHION BRAND, both Mens and Womens wear seeks a production co-ordinator with excellent (x patternmaker) garment technical skills. You will possess advanced computer skills and be familiar with Adobe suite. MANAGING BULK PRODUCTION Autonomously managing the production critical path in conjunction with existing operational trackers; Ensuring timely receipt of all relevant information from development and design to ensure production process can be efficiently carried out within all critical paths, Noting amendments at conference and any anomalies in salesmen samples received; Implementing all subsequent amendments to products; communicating all changes to all relevant parties; amending all related make sheets and technical sketches. Ensuring all product in range has been approved fully any anomalies need to be relayed and approved prior to selling; Negotiating price amendments following quality and styling amendments; Manage own fit sessions including: organising fit models,  measuring salesmen samples and  preproduction samples; Perfecting fits for final bulk production by amending specs; photographing garment; pinning or cutting and sewing garment where necessary and relaying necessary information to makers; Approving fits to bulk, maintaining archive of blocks for future design use; Sending final graded  specifications and sealed tech packs; Updating all operational  trackers with approvals, Liaising with operations regarding potential delays or revised ex fac dates; Liaising with supplier’s to proactively seek resolution to production issues; Investigating and maintain record of all customer complaints and  QC issues; Negotiating discounts where appropriate; Efficient logistical tracking of all subsequent samples, trims and fabric for approvals; Maintenance of high quality up to date records and sample archives; Monitoring the quality of deliveries through regular  in store visits and communication with retail and customers; Monitoring supplier performance; Maintaining high standard of quality expected of a brand Ensure all approvals auctioned in timely manner to maintain all ex factory dates. Ensure high quality product delivered into store. Maintenance of up-to-date archives and documentation Updating the Design team of progress at weekly meetings Updating Operations with regular communications. Based in Surry Hills.

SALARY $65K+SUPER
