Jewellery Buyer

Bevilles Jewellers are a national retailer, renowned for selling value-for-money jewellery and giftware with an emphasis on offering excellent customer service in retail stores and on-line.

Bevilles are currently seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Buyer to join our Head Office jewellery buying team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Achieving sales, margin and inventory level budgets
• Product development with local and overseas suppliers
• Selecting products to feature in marketing activity to maximize sales and profitability.
• Completing range reviews and presentations
• Sourcing new, and strengthening current supplier relationships to deliver the best business outcomes
• Completing competitor analysis to ensure market leadership
• Collaboration with other buyers and departments within the business to drive sales and a great customer offer.


To be successful in the role you will have:


• A minimum of 2 years buying experience
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to assess markets and forecast impacts
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• An ability to work under pressure
• Great time management and organizational skills
• A passion for working with an attention to detail
• Experience in sourcing products from overseas
