FASHION – GENERAL MANAGER – $250K + Equity

Our client is one of the industry’s largest manufacturers working with the largest retailers across USA, ASIA, UK, and the Middle East. The group operates a global network with over 2500 employees, 100 factories and 25 offices in 15 countries across Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia equating to over 1 Billion in sales annually Having recently expanded into Australia and already working with major retailers they are ready to set up offices to exploit their experience and industry connections to drive growth and further penetrate the market.
Currently offering men’s, women’s and children’s apparel across cut and sew, wovens, knitwear and denim, the full potential of their resources are still to be realized. There are no “middle men” in the equation so they are extremely competitive on cost and quality and speed to market.

As the General Manager you will have extensive experience in the supply to retail market. With an existing network of clients and contacts you will draw on your own relationships and in-depth understanding of the Retail landscape to identify growth categories and build strategic partnerships with key Retailers. Working with the Hong Kong based office you will recruit and hire your own team of sales executives / account managers, developers / designers and merchandisers to develop ranges for the local market.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience within a General Management / Divisional management position
• Previous experience managing a business with a turnover in excess of $50 Million
• Proven track record in growing revenue
• Extensive experience working with major Australian Retailers
• Ability to develop, motivate and inspire a team
